About the Project
TMK Construction Development co-developed the Hopkins Gateway Hotel, located on the Johns Hopkins Medical campus, which is poised to capitalize on the revival of East Baltimore.
The 194-key hotel consists of 15 stories, a 3,500-SF rooftop bar/terrace, and 20,000 SF of retail space. According to the Maryland Department of Business, the hotel is located in a tract of land which has an unemployment rate of 13.5%, which qualifies it as a Targeted Employment Area (TEA). The Gateway Development Project is expected to create 1,200 direct, indirect, or induced jobs. TMK Construction Development is proud to be co-developer on a project that energizes East Baltimore and positively impacts the community.
